COLLECTION OF MY ARTWORKS

Computer Generated Crochet

A textile installation piece that bridges human craft and technology by using random binary code generated by a computer to guide a crocheted textile, where each stitch represents a digital 1 or 0 in the RGB color model. Through this interplay, I explore themes of chance, systems, and the ethics of labor, reflecting on how technology and human effort intersect and the often-overlooked human stories behind the textiles we wear.

Fiber Optic Top

In this piece, I used e-waste, discarded cables and wires as my “yarn,” reimagining the traditional craft of crochet through the lens of technology. By weaving together ethernet cords, chargers, and USBs, I transformed everyday e-waste into a wearable network that mirrors the ways devices and people are interconnected. The work invites viewers to reflect on how clothing and technology both shape the systems we rely on daily for connection and community.

Struggle between the Sheets

A digital piece made in Photoshop, this artwork represents my daily struggle with the sleep disorder called Narcolepsy. This image represents the moment of waking up for me, which is usually a struggle between myself, the comfort of my bed sheets and the process of medicating myself in the morning so that I can start my day. I wanted to create a sort of distorted blur from the creases of my bed sheets and the labelling on my medications, to show the feeling of what waking up is like for me.

Wire - re-wire

A digital collage piece that represents my professional and personal identity. I wanted to show my personal conflict with following my degree in Science, but pursuing a career in art and design
